The Netherlands Cancer Institute partners with Kaiku Health to develop the next generation of digital patient monitoring and management

The Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI), an internationally acclaimed Comprehensive Cancer Center, collaborates with Kaiku Health, an innovator in the field of digital therapeutics for oncology, to develop the next generation of patient-reported outcomes and symptom management. The collaboration is part of a larger clinical trial named NADINA, a phase III trial for neoadjuvant immunotherapy for stage 3 melanoma, where NKI is the principal investigator. NKI uses the Kaiku Health platform in symptom management and patient-reported outcome monitoring of melanoma patients receiving immune checkpoint inhibitor therapies and BRAF/MEK therapies.

Kaiku Health and MSD Germany collaborate to develop AI-enabled digital patient monitoring for lung cancer patients

Kaiku Health, the developer of a digital health intervention service in oncology, and MSD Germany, an affiliate of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, collaborate to develop digital patient monitoring and management for lung cancer patients. In this case, the Kaiku Health Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor module will be used to connect patients with their healthcare providers. In the initial phase of the collaboration, the goal is to pilot the immunotherapy module in cancer centers located in Germany.

Kaiku Health support joins Elekta Care Support Center in Europe

Kaiku Health user support for health care providers has joined Elekta Care Support Center (ECSC) in Europe. As of January 24th 2022, ECSC provides technical assistance to Kaiku Health customers in the region. This excludes the Nordic countries that will join the Care Support Center later in the year. With ECSC, the healthcare personnel users of Kaiku Health get more extensive support. The language of the service is not restricted to English anymore but includes also the main European languages from German, French, and Italian to Portuguese and Spanish.

OncoHealth and Triple-S Salud of Puerto Rico Partner for Evidence-Based Cancer Treatment

OncoHealth, the leading digital health company for navigating the physical, mental and financial complexities of cancer care, has announced a multi-year partnership with Triple-S Salud, an independent licensee of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and Puerto Rico’s largest insurer. OncoHealth and Triple-S have been partners for over two years and today, the companies announced that they have expanded their partnership to include cancer treatment reviews for all lines of business, including 450,000 Puerto Rico Government Health Plan Vital Medicaid members. This expands the health plan’s relationship with OncoHealth, which is already managing 100% of the Triple-S Medicare Advantage population and its Federal Employee Benefits (FEHB) program. The addition of the Medicaid membership brings the entire population being served by OncoHealth to more than 634,000.
