Headspace, Virgin Pulse expand partnership to enhance employer offering

Digital mental health company Headspace and employer health tech company Virgin Pulse have announced an extended partnership in which Virgin's members will have full access to Headspace within its AI-enabled health and wellbeing platform. Headspace will be fully integrated into Virgin Pulse's Homebase for Health platform, providing Virgin's employer, health plan and health system members access to Headspace's psychiatry, therapy, clinical care, self-guided care, behavioral health coaching and employee assistance program services. Headspace's offerings will also be available to Virgin Pulse's approximately 2,000 employees globally.

Boston Medical Center is remotely monitoring new mothers for conditions like postpartum hypertension to keep the women well and out of the hospital. Nicklaus Children’s Implements Smileyscope to Help Children Feel More at Ease During Needle Procedures

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital has implemented use of Australia- and Texas-based Smileyscope Holding Inc’s (Smileyscope™) virtual reality (VR) therapeutics to soothe children during needle procedures in the hospital’s Emergency Department. Nicklaus Children’s is among the first children’s hospitals in the nation and the first in South Florida to offer this child-friendly, immersive technology. One of the most requested VR experiences sought by children is the underwater adventure, which features waves washing over the injection site and a fish nibbling on the child’s arm during the injection. Clinical trials have shown this VR program can safely and effectively reduce pediatric needle pain by up to 60 percent and anxiety by 40 percent, allowing for a more comfortable and positive patient experience.

MedOne Launches Dario's Digital Health Solution to Help Members Improve Health with a Personalized Support

DarioHealth Corp. and MedOne Pharmacy Benefit Solutions have partnered to integrate Dario's digital health solutions with MedOne's Diabetes Care Path. UC Davis Health collaborates with Propeller Health to improve clinical outcomes of COPD patients

UC Davis Health and Propeller Health have announced a new collaboration that will offer personalized treatment for high-risk patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) aiming to improve their health outcomes.As part of the collaboration, UC Davis Health will provide the Propeller program – including sensors, mobile app, web portal, and personalized support – to eligible patients, with eventual expansion to patients in other UC locations and UC affiliates. The sensors attach to a patient’s inhaler to capture signals that record events, such as medication usage or respiration. This data will be transmitted directly to UC Davis Health’s Epic® electronic health record (EHR) system to support patient enrollment and remote patient monitoring via single sign-on.
