Broward Health and Voluntis launch a new clinical evaluation program on digital therapeutics for metastatic breast cancer

Voluntis, a leader in digital therapeutics, announced today a collaboration with Broward Health, a public health system in the U.S. The partnership will focus on conducting a real-world evaluation of Oleena, a digital application that assists patients in managing their symptoms. As part of the collaboration, Oleena, a FDA-authorized digital therapeutic application developed by Voluntis for patients with cancer, will be provided to patients with HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer to support them in self-managing symptoms and side effects of their conditions and treatments

Two leading university hospitals implement Kaiku Health in Central Europe

Kaiku Health is strengthening its foothold in Central Europe as the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) in Switzerland and University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein Lübeck in Germany will implement Kaiku Health in the symptom management and patient-reported outcome monitoring of their cancer patients. Kaiku Health was piloted at the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) in 2019. The platform will be gradually provided for all patients who receive chemotherapy for local or metastatic breast, colorectal or lung cancer. University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein Lübeck will implement Kaiku Health into the monitoring and management of toxicities of lung cancer patients treated with immunotherapies and receiving either mono- or combination therapies.

OncoHealth Partners with Gateway Health to Provide Data-Driven Solution for Medical Oncology

Kaiku Health extends its cooperation with Hirslanden Radiotherapy to digital symptom management of cancer patients undergoing oncological rehabilitation

Hirslanden Radiotherapy in Switzerland has implemented Kaiku Health as a digital patient management solution in the Oncological Rehabilitation of cancer patients in Aargau (ORA) program. The first pilot group of patients started to use Kaiku Health as a part of their rehabilitation on June 1st 2020. The rehabilitation project aims to restore patients’ physical, social and mental wellbeing during and after cancer treatments. The ORA modules last from 8 to 16 weeks. The rehabilitation program is currently available for Hirslanden Radiotherapy cancer patients regardless of cancer types.

Banner Health Selects Carevive to Advance Value-Based Cancer Care

Banner Health, one of the country’s largest nonprofit hospital systems, announced that they have partnered with Carevive to deliver patient care plans and provide home-based symptom management as they prepare for CMS’ Oncology Care First (OCF) model.
