Swiss multicentre study to investigate the effect of ePRO-based model of care on early detection and management of immune-related adverse events

Kaiku Health is taking part in a study assessing the use of an electronic Patient-Reported Outcome (ePRO)-based model of care to evaluate onset of symptomatic immune-related adverse events in cancer patients and their detection by healthcare providers. This phase-II randomised controlled trial, comparing the ePRO-based model of care to the current standard model of care, is conducted at the Geneva University Hospitals and Lausanne University Hospital, Switzerland.

Kaiku Health expands partnership with a leading global medicines company to provide improved cancer care to more patients across multiple indications

Last year Kaiku Health, a leading digital therapeutics platform for cancer care, announced its collaboration with Novartis, a leading global medicines company, in developing digital patient monitoring and management for melanoma patients. Following the success of the collaboration, Kaiku Health and Novartis are now expanding it into a partnership. In the first phase of the collaboration, Kaiku Health and Novartis developed a therapy-specific module for patients receiving Tafinlar (dabrafenib) and Mekinist (trametinib) combination targeted therapies. The project started with cancer clinics in Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and Italy using the Tafinlar and Mekinist specific module alongside Kaiku’s BRAF/MEK Module. Kaiku Health, the developer of digital health intervention platform in oncology, today announced it will develop digital patient monitoring and management for melanoma patients in collaboration with Novartis, a leading global medicines company. Kaiku Health and Novartis are now aiming to further improve the remote monitoring and support of these patients with the joint development of a therapy-specific module for patients receiving BRAF/MEK combination therapies for melanoma.
