Incyte Corporation (Nasdaq:INCY)announces that 15 abstracts from its research and development portfolio will be presented at the upcoming 2018 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) annual meeting in Chicago, Illinois from April 14-18, 2018. These abstracts include the first pre-clinical data from the Company’s recently announced AXL/MER, TIM-3 and LAG-3 antibody programs in patients with advanced solid tumors.

Voluntis and Roche Pharma France reinvent cancer patient support with digital therapeutics

Today, Voluntis and Roche Pharma France announced that important milestones have been reached in the development of ZEMY, a digital therapeutic developed by Roche Pharma France in partnership with Voluntis since 2015. ZEMY aims to improve care support for breast cancer patients. Its co-construction with various stakeholders (patients, healthcare professionals, etc.) has been critical in developing its medical algorithms and validating its ease of use. A multi-center clinical study has been initiated to evaluate adherence to the ZEMY solution as well as potential improvement in patients’ quality of life. New App Specifically for Colorectal Cancer Patients

Living with cancer can be isolating, and finding the right resource to connect with others in the same situation can be tough. But one app is aiming to make the process easier for patients with its new social media platform. This week, Belong, a social media app designed for cancer patients, announced that it will be partnering up with Toronto-based advocacy group Colorectal Cancer Canada (CCC) to develop a new platform specifically for CCC members. “This partnership enhances our vision to support patients and their loved ones while easing their concerns as they cope with a challenging disease,” Eliran Malki, cofounder and CEO of Belong, said in a statement.

Roche to Acquire Flatiron Health to Accelerate Industry-Wide Development and Delivery of Breakthrough Medicines for Patients with Cancer

Roche (SIX: RO, ROG; OTCQX: RHHBY) and Flatiron Health, Inc. announced today that the two partners have signed a definitive agreement under which Roche will acquire all shares of Flatiron Health, following on from an existing equity stake of 12.6%. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2018. Under the terms of the agreement, Roche will make a payment of USD 1.9 billion to Flatiron Health on a fully diluted basis, subject to certain adjustments.
