Aidence and Heart&Lung partner for Greater Manchester cancer screening

Medtech firm Aidence and Heart&Lung Health (H&L), a specialist in chest and cardiac radiology reporting, have partnered to provide AI-powered, scan reporting for lung cancer screening in Tameside, Glossop, and North Manchester Clinical Commission Groups (CCGs). The collaboration between Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), Aidence, and H&L aims to ensure that no early-stage cancers are missed in the screening chest CT scans and that reporting follows the correct protocol and the highest clinical standards.

Hardian and Aidence partner with University of Edinburgh for NHS AI Award

An innovative clinical evaluation programme has been launched to examine the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on radiology decision making in the lung cancer pathway and the patient outcomes from these decisions. The programme, called INPACT, is a collaboration between MedTech scale-up Aidence, clinical consultancy Hardian Health, and the University of Edinburgh, with funding from the NHSX through the NHS AI in Health and Care Award.

Aidence partners with the Netherlands Cancer Institute to leverage AI for lung cancer care

The Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI), one of the world’s top 10 comprehensive cancer centres, is using artificial intelligence (AI) for lung nodule management. The AI solution, Veye Lung Nodules, is provided by MedTech scaleup Aidence. Veye Lung Nodules is a CE certified second or concurrent reader used in routine practice and lung cancer screening across Europe. At NKI, it will analyse over 15,000 chest CT scans per year, and the additional prior scans for approximately 80% of studies.

Sema4 and VieCure collaborate to provide real-time patient insights

Health intelligence company Sema4 and artificial intelligence (AI) informatics company VieCure have entered a strategic collaboration to enable oncologists to provide personalised care to the patients. The alliance allows Sema4 scientists to access patient data from the VCurePrecision EMR platform with the consent of the patients and analyse the data using its Centrellis health intelligence platform. Furthermore, it will allow oncologists using the VCurePrecision EMR to access real-time insights that help in point-of-care decision-making and clinical trial identification for patients. This strategic collaboration also enables healthcare providers to recommend Sema4’s molecular testing for cancer through the VCurePrecision platform.
