Kaiku Health extends its cooperation with Hirslanden Radiotherapy to digital symptom management of cancer patients undergoing oncological rehabilitation

Hirslanden Radiotherapy in Switzerland has implemented Kaiku Health as a digital patient management solution in the Oncological Rehabilitation of cancer patients in Aargau (ORA) program. The first pilot group of patients started to use Kaiku Health as a part of their rehabilitation on June 1st 2020. The rehabilitation project aims to restore patients’ physical, social and mental wellbeing during and after cancer treatments. The ORA modules last from 8 to 16 weeks. The rehabilitation program is currently available for Hirslanden Radiotherapy cancer patients regardless of cancer types.

Banner Health Selects Carevive to Advance Value-Based Cancer Care

Banner Health, one of the country’s largest nonprofit hospital systems, announced that they have partnered with Carevive to deliver patient care plans and provide home-based symptom management as they prepare for CMS’ Oncology Care First (OCF) model. Carevive’s oncology digital platform will integrate with Banner Health’s Cerner electronic health record (EHR) so that care teams can efficiently deliver personalized treatment care plans for the newly diagnosed patient, survivorship care plans those coming off active treatment, and to conduct home-based symptom management. Home-based symptom management will be possible using Carevive PROmpt®, a patient-reported outcomes (PRO) platform.

Roche Improves Speed and Accuracy of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Diagnosis with Launch of Automated Digital Pathology Algorithm

Roche (SIX: RO, ROG; OTCQX: RHHBY) today announced the CE-IVD launch of its automated digital pathology algorithm, the uPath PD-L1 (SP263) image analysis for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The algorithm provides pathologists with automated assessments of scanned slide images that are objective and reproducible and have the potential to aid diagnosis and, ultimately, targeted treatment options for patients.

Kaiku Health expands collaboration with Roche in digital patient monitoring and management
