Vine Health Raises £1.2M in Seed Funding

Vine Health, a London, UK-based provider of an app that helps cancer patients manage and understand their treatment and lifestyle, raised �1.2m in seed funding. The round was led by Playfair Capital, with participation from Entrepreneur First, Ascension Ventures and Tiny VC, as well as a number of angel investors including Simon and Michael Blakey and Pam Garside. The company will use the funds to develop its platform and make key hires at its headquarters.

PathAI Receives Strategic Investment from LabCorp

PathAI, a Boston, MA-based provider of artificial intelligence-powered technology for use in pathology research, secured an investment from LabCorp (NYSE: LH), a global life sciences company. The amount of the deal was not disclosed. The company intends to use the funds to expand clinical development of artificial intelligence-enabled computational pathology and advance its eventual integration with clinical laboratories. LabCorp�s investment follows a $60m round of funding into PathAI announced last month, led by global growth equity firm General Atlantic and venture capital firm General Catalyst.

SidekickHealth receives an injection from Novator

Novator, Björgólf Thor Björgólfsson's investment company, and related investors have completed a one hundred million ISK injection into the Icelandic health technology company SidekickHealth, but the investor group has contributed hundreds of millions to the company since its inception. SidekickHealth has one foot in the door of the global pharmaceutical industry after successfully partnering with two of the world's five largest pharmaceutical companies. A second and larger capital increase is planned for the end of the year.

Insilico Medicine, a Hong Kong-based developer of next-generation artificial intelligence technology for drug discovery, completed a $37m Series B funding round. The round was led by Qiming Venture Partners, joined by Eight Roads, F-Prime Capital, Lilly Asia Ventures, Sinovation Ventures, Baidu Ventures, Pavilion Capital, Bold Capital Partners and others. Concerto HealthAI Raises $150 Million in Series B Funding

Concerto HealthAI, the market leader for Real-World Data (RWD) and enterprise AI technology solutions for Precision Oncology, announced today it has raised $150 million in aggregate Series B financing.
