Biofourmis, a data analytics startup based in Singapore, has recently secured US$1 million in angel funding led by SpesNet and Eden Strategy. Founded in 2015, the startup has been actively working with the healthcare sector to offer predictive, precise and meaningful insights into one’s health.
Newly-formed med device company Theranica Bio-Electronics said today it closed a seed financing round led by Dr. Shimon Eckhouse and joined by a group of angel investors. Frumtak Ventures just announced a $1.5m investment into Goodlifeme AB, maker of Sidekick Health. Other participants in the round include Tennin ehf. and other investors. “This investment gives our team of physicians, psychologists, public health professionals and game developers the opportunity to deepen SidekickHealth’s global reach, particularly in the United States,” said Tryggvi Thorgeirsson, co-founder and CEO of Goodlifeme.
The document is a Form D filing submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission by Amalgam Rx, a healthcare technology company. According to the filing, Amalgam Rx has raised $1,223,886 USD through the issuance of equity securities to an undisclosed group of investors. The funds raised will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.

The latest investment, which brings the total raised to date to $6.3 million, will enable Sentio to expand access to its Feel program through partnerships with health plans, life insurance providers, employers, and health systems.
