Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute expands partnership with COTA

Baptist Health Innovations and COTA’s collaboration has added new technology for cancer care. This partnership provides physicians with real-world evidence (RWE) for cancer care, allowing them to look at data from many levels and analyze the cost-effectiveness of healthcare services. Miami Cancer Institute used COTA’s analysis of RWE to change its testing policy for breast cancer gene mutations.

Cancer Alliances and Careology join forces for a prehabilitation cancer care programme

The East of England Cancer Alliance has funded a new prehabilitation cancer care programme, in partnership with James Paget Hospital, Macmillan Cancer Support and Careology. The programme offers free exercise, advice on diet and nutrition, smoking or alcohol cessation support, and mental wellbeing sessions to all newly-diagnosed cancer patients to prepare them for treatment and help improve their quality of life. Colorectal cancer patients will initially take part in the programme at James Paget as well as lung, melanoma and upper gastrointestinal patients at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

Reimagine Care and The Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders Announce Partnership

Reimagine Care announced today that it has partnered with The Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders (CCBD), one of the country's most respected cancer centers, to offer its home-based supportive care and symptom management program to patients in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Thousands of CCBD patients will have access to on-demand support from experienced oncology nurses and advanced practitioners via text, phone, and video, along with in-home care when appropriate. The Reimagine Care program also alleviates much of the triage and symptom management demands on CCBD clinicians – improving provider wellbeing and increasing clinical capacity.

Vietnam Pediatric Association and Roche pledge to enhance access to care for children with Type 1 diabetes under the Changing Diabetes® in Children programme

Roche Diabetes Care and The Vietnam Pediatric Association have joined forces under the Changing Diabetes® in Children program to improve access to care for underprivileged children with Type 1 diabetes in Vietnam. The partnership aims to provide diabetes monitoring and management kits to all 2,600 children with Type 1 diabetes in Vietnam, along with education and training for healthcare professionals and increased awareness among patients and their families. This collaboration is part of a global initiative led by Novo Nordisk and Roche to broaden access to care for children with diabetes worldwide.

MedOne Launches Dario's Digital Health Solution to Help Members Improve Health with a Personalized Support

DarioHealth and MedOne Pharmacy Benefit Solutions announce a new agreement to integrate Dario's suite of digital health solutions as a complement to MedOne's digital diabetes solution, the Diabetes Care Path. The new arrangement will enhance the patient-facing support services for diabetic patients while the MedOne clinical team focuses on interventions with prescribers to optimize treatment plans. Members who are currently users of the PBM's Diabetes Care Path will be eligible to enroll in Dario's digital health solution effective June 1, 2023. Post-launch, Dario's solutions will be an integral part of the PBM enhanced diabetic management to their existing and future member populations. The agreement originated through Dario's previously announced strategic collaboration with Sanofi US ("Sanofi"), representing a major milestone achievement one year into the agreement.

Dario Selected as Digital Therapeutics Partner by a Top-Ten Digitally Enabled Pharmacy Benefits Manager

DarioHealth announced a new contract with a leading nationwide Pharmacy Benefits Manager operating in 50 states to provide Dario's digital therapeutics, starting with the diabetes solution, to employer clients beginning in the second quarter of 2023. Through the new contract, the PBM will replace an existing digital diabetes solution with Dario's cardio metabolic digital therapeutic. Real-World Data Collab Aims to Improve Diversity in Cancer Clinical Trials

The National Cancer Institute Community Oncology Research Program (NCI NCORP)-designated Louisiana State University (LSU) Health New Orleans is collaborating with artificial intelligence (AI) and real-world data solutions company ConcertAI to improve diversity in clinical trials and ensure broader access for cancer patients. The collaboration is part of ongoing work by LSU Health New Orleans and NCI NCORP to establish and improve the clinical trials network in the Gulf South region. According to the press release, NCI awarded LSU Health New Orleans a $5.6 million grant to create the network and another $13.6 million to expand it, with an emphasis on reaching underserved and minority patients. The collaboration also aligns with ConcertAI’s ERACE (Engaging Research to Achieve Cancer Care Equality) program. "The collaboration will identify current cancer care disparities in Louisiana and how they can be addressed," said Augusto Ochoa, MD, an LSU Health New Orleans NCORP principal investigator, in the press release.
