The Moovcare app, against lung cancer, soon to be reimbursed

Remote monitoring software in lung cancer, Moovcare, received a favorable opinion from the Haute Autorité de Santé for its reimbursement, which should be granted before the end of the year. HAS issued an advisory on April 9, favorable for support by the health insurance of Moovcare, developed by the Sivan company, with a service improvement note expected level III (moderate). At stretching the planned national launch at the end of 2019, the application has already been in disposal of about fifty patients in a dozen centers French, including the Institut Curie.

Turku University Hospital implements Kaiku Health for their late-effect follow-up of childhood cancer

Finnish digital health company Netmedi has begun cooperation with Turku University Hospital (Tyks) Cancer Center’s late-effect follow-up clinic. Kaiku Health web application will be used to systematically collect data about current state of health and quality of life, as well as any possible late adverse events in patients that have undergone cancer treatment during childhood or adolescence. The collected data will also be used to analyze future medical research needs.
