Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and Blue Note Therapeutics, Inc. have agreed to collaborate on creating a prescription digital therapeutic medical device from a psychological intervention created specifically for cancer patients with advanced cancer. MCP is a brief, manualized psychotherapeutic intervention to help patients suffering with loss of meaning around illness.

Blue Note Therapeutics Enters Licensing Agreement with Massachusetts General Hospital for Digital Therapeutic for Acute Myeloid Leukemia Patients

Blue Note Therapeutics, Inc., a prescription digital therapeutics company, has entered into a licensing agreement with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) to further develop and commercialize a digital therapeutic prototype created specifically for patients with acute myeloid leukemia by researchers from the MGH Cancer Outcomes Research and Education Program. A randomized head-to-head clinical trial is currently underway at MGH and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to measure the prototype’s ability to improve the physical and psychological symptoms patients with acute myeloid leukemia experience during hospitalization for their leukemia care as compared to usual care.

Voluntis announces end of Roche Pharma France collaboration for Zemy solution

Voluntis (Euronext Paris, Ticker: VTX – ISIN: FR0004183960), a company specializing in digital therapeutics, announces Roche Pharma France’s decision not to pursue ZEMY’s development in breast cancer. The collaboration between Roche Pharma France and Voluntis on this project will end at the conclusion of the feasibility clinical study currently being conducted by Roche Pharma France, end of April 2019. Proteus' digital pill is now delivering chemotherapy

In conjunction with Fairview Health Services and University of Minnesota Health, Proteus Digital Health unveiled plans to pair its sensor-equipped digital pills with an oral oncology therapeutic. According to an announcement from Proteus, the new care model is currently being used to treat stage 3 and stage 4 colorectal cancer patients receiving care at Fairview. There, clinicians are prescribing “digital capecitabine,” which consists of the ingestible sensor, the accompanying mobile data platform and the established chemotherapy medication.
